Missouri is currently considering legislation to allow video gaming in licensed establishments. Should the State approve regulated video gaming machines, you'll want to be prepared to take advantage. There's no better way to prepare than partnering with Accel Entertainment.
There has been an increased interest in the Missouri video gaming market in recent years due to proposed bills legalizing this form of gambling. For now, the placement and usage of video lottery game terminals (VLTs) is still illegal in Missouri; however, that might change soon! There are several bills that’s have been proposed to the state, namely SB 98, HB 1014, and HB 915. If it does, establishments will want to be well-versed in all requirements associated with joining the Missouri video gaming market.
Truck stops on two or more acres that pump 10,000 gallons of diesel or biodiesel fuel per month.
Fraternal and Veterans' Organizations may be eligible to add video gaming.
Establishments known as Liquor by the Drink Establishments may be eligible to add video gaming.
Since no proposed bill has become law, it is difficult to know exactly the types of locations that will qualify. Additionally, we do not know for sure how many video lottery terminals (“VLTs” or slot machines) each location will be permitted to have, but we believe up to five VLTs per location will be most likely.
