Missouri is currently considering legislation to allow video gaming in licensed establishments. There are several bills that have been proposed to the state, namely SB 98, HB 1014, and HB 915. Should the State approve regulated video gaming machines, you'll want to be prepared to take advantage. There's no better way to prepare than partnering with Accel Entertainment.
Since no proposed bill has become a law, it is difficult to know exactly which types of establishments will qualify. Additionally, we do not know for sure how many Video Lottery Terminals (“VLTs” or slot machines) each establishment will be permitted to have, but we believe up to five VLTs per location will be more likely.
PROPOSED ELIGIBLE ESTABLISHMENT TYPES:
Truck stops on two or more acres that pump 10,000 gallons of diesel or biodiesel fuel per month.
Fraternal and Veterans’ Organizations may be eligible to add video gaming.
Establishments known as Liquor by the Drink establishments may be eligible for video gaming.
